NuBiotix Digestive Enzyme Blend General review

At an overall review score of 4/5 stars, it is safe to say that NuBiotix Digestive Enzyme Blend stands as an above average probiotic supplement when compared to other similar products on today’s market.

The first positive aspect related to this particular dietary enhancer is its simple administration regime recommended on the label, namely taking 1 capsule each day with a big glass of water before breakfast.

The specific timeframe of ingestion (morning) then allows for probiotic release all throughout the day, while the cold liquid-based suspension guarantees that the microorganisms are not harmed during this process.

Secondly, Digestive Enzyme Blend impresses through its 2.5 CFUs (colony-forming units) potency. The human gastrointestinal tract naturally contains around 1-100 billion CFUs on a constant basis, so this type of mild supplementation is ideal for mixing digestive wellbeing with a reduced potential for side effects during the first days of usage.

The blend used in the composition of Digestive Enzyme Blend is also very satisfactory. As a result, the 2 distinct probiotic strains – Bifidobacterium bifidum and Lactobacillus acidophilus – are accompanied by a large number of B-complex vitamins and organic ingredients (parsley leaf, ginger root, and peppermint leaf).

The product is equally low in additives (only magnesium stearate and gelatine), which constitutes a big advantage for the supplement’s wholesome and pro-digestive qualities.

So why didn’t Digestive Enzyme Blend receive a maximum score? Well, there’s the price. At just shy of $50 per month and $1.63 for each daily administration dosage, this supplement costs almost double the amount an average probiotic enhancer would.

If you can afford it, then it is definitely one of the best such probiotics out there; if not, then you might as well look for a similar, yet a cheaper alternative for your digestive and immune needs in the future.

There’s the issue of the manufacturer guarantee too, which NuBiotix almost completely overlooks for Digestive Enzyme Blend.

There is a rather complicated process through which you could receive a refund, but that requires sending back the unopened product within 30 days of purchasing – which, evidently, beats the entire purpose of a probiotic supplement, to begin with.

How can you decide whether this product is good for you or not if you don’t try it out first, right? So, while this money-back policy might be useful for those who purchase Digestive Enzyme Blend in bulk, single bottle buyers are left at a big disadvantage in this instance.

All in all, NuBiotix Digestive Enzyme Blend scores a 4/5 rating in light of its simple utilization schedule, mild CFUs count, and interesting selection of ingredients, but fails to satisfy in terms of pricing and manufacturer guarantee.

If you can get past these latter inconveniences, then you could experience this product for yourself and decide whether it is the right probiotic supplement for you or not.

NuBiotix Digestive Enzyme Blend Ingredients list

  • Bifidobacterium bifidumrepresents a valuable member of the Bifidobacterium family responsible for numerous digestive and immune screening functions. Among these we can include vitamin K and B production, significantly reduced yeast overgrowths and, and improved inflammatory responses. Bifidobacterium bifidum is also known to shorten the duration of antibiotic-induced diarrhea and regularize bowel motility patterns (which also helps with nutrient assimilation and weight management in the long run).
  • Lactobacillus acidophilus – is an ‘acid-loving’ microorganism which improves lactose tolerance (by decomposing the ‘tough’ milk sugars into lactic acid) and improves immunity control through its strong antimicrobial properties. In addition, Lactobacillus acidophilus colonies can withstand even harsher conditions inside the gastrointestinal system, meaning that they can promote improved digestive patterns and accelerated nutrient absorption for longer periods of time.
  • Cellulase – constitutes a carbohydrate naturally produced by various bacteria and symbiotic protozoa that, as the name so aptly suggests, has the distinct capacity of decomposing cellulose into easier to digest substances. As a result, consuming cellulase-based supplements will help your body better process foods and thus regulate blood sugars. Moreover, cellulase can help cleanse the organism by protecting cells against toxic chemicals and free radicals.
  • Ginger root – has been used in alternative medicine for centuries as a common remedy against ‘stomach’ problems such as nausea, bloating, gas, motion sickness, and even diarrhea episodes or IBS flare-ups. Other important functions include lowering blood pressure and normalizing cholesterol readings. Ginger root is likewise employed as an appetite stimulant, digestive booster, and anti-inflammatory helper in the case of intestinal issues of all sorts.
  • Parsley leaf – aside from being a world-renowned culinary ingredient, parsley leaf can also bring numerous health-related benefits when consumed on a regular basis. From fewer instances of abdominal discomfort (gas, bloating, etc.) and irregular bowel movements (like constipation or diarrhea, for example) to minimized instances of urinary tract infections, parsley can cover a wide variety of both digestive and immune problems in a highly positive manner.
  • Peppermint leafMentha piperita is not only famous for its cool and refreshing taste but equally because of its contribution to overall wellbeing. As a result, peppermint leaves can act as a natural antimicrobial by inhibiting the formations of pathogens (fungi, parasites, etc.). Furthermore, this plant acts as a powerful antioxidant and digestive booster inside the organism by lowering bad cholesterol levels, boosting bile production, and accelerating liver functions.
  • Vegpanzyme Plus – is a pharmaceutically obtained ‘super-enzyme’ which highly supports correct digestive patterns and nutrient absorption alike. At a chemical level, enzymes are catalysts, meaning that they boost reactions between substances. In this case, Vegpanzyme Plus accelerates food decomposition all throughout the gastrointestinal tract – for instance, ‘tough’ carbohydrates or fats – therefore generating improved bowel motility and overall better weight management through proper vitamin and mineral assimilation.
  • Vitamin B1 – also known as thiamine, vitamin B1 represents an essential nutrient commonly found in many fruit, vegetables, grains, and meats as well. Its most prominent beneficial properties are related to digestive wellbeing, namely improving appetite, shortening diarrhea episodes, and accelerating healing in the case of ulcerative colitis. Other benefits include improved immune support, reduced chances of developing heart disease, and fewer episodes of motion sickness.
  • Vitamin B2 – vitamin B2 or riboflavin is the second component of the B-complex class of vitamins. As all such vitamins, it has the ability to transform carbohydrates into glucose, hence elevating energy and maintaining overall wellbeing inside the organism. Its digestive and immunity-related functions include regularized food decomposition and active antimicrobial support, alongside a strong antioxidant effect on noxious free radicals that might be the cause of heart issues or various cancers.
  • Vitamin B6 – is a B-complex vitamin also called pyridoxine. Normally found in vegetables, beans, eggs, and cereals, vitamin B6 contributes to digestive well-being by boosting food decomposition and helping the efficient nutrient assimilation of other substances at the level of the gut. In addition, it can aid in the alleviation of PMS symptoms, reduce high cholesterol readings, and prevent the installation of bladder infections.
  • Vitamin B12 – a very important contributor to the health of the nervous system and blood cells alike, vitamin B12 can be acquired via dairy products, meats, and dietary supplements. It can prevent anemia and atrophic gastritis episodes, as well as regulate mood (in the case of depression, for instance), alleviate allergenic symptoms, and boost cardiovascular wellbeing.

NuBiotix Digestive Enzyme Blend Allergenic potential

One of the great things about Digestive Enzyme Blend is that it does not present any major allergenic threats.

As the label states, Digestive Enzyme Blend is gluten-free, which is always a big plus when it comes to dietary supplements.

Gluten has been shown to cause a wide array of unwanted side effects to sensitive individuals or those who suffer from celiac disease, so it’s good to be on the safe side with this ingredient, to begin with.

In addition, the formula for Digestive Enzyme Blend is a very promising one because the natural ingredients highly outweigh the additives. So, besides the 2 probiotic components and other organic components, we only have magnesium stearate and gelatine as complementary ingredients.

Speaking of gelatine – this might be the only problematic addition to this supplement in terms of allergies.

Although rarer than other similar food sensitivities, gelatine allergies are a response to protein triggering and should be taken into account by individuals with a medical history in this sense.

Overall Cost

As previously mentioned, each bottle containing 30 capsules of Digestive Enzyme Blend will cost you $48.99, with every individual serving amounting to $1.63. By comparison, the average daily price of a good probiotic supplement is considered to be around the $0.70 mark.

Obviously, Digestive Enzyme Blend comes through as a highly expensive dietary enhancer, no matter how you approach the situation.

Of course, the 2.5 billion CFUs count is a good microorganism boost, but not nearly worth double the average cost of other similar probiotics currently available on the market.

This steep marketing cost definitely takes away from the product’s overall quality because a daily usage probiotic should be both good and affordable in order to qualify as a recommendable dietary enhancer.

On the other hand, Digestive Enzyme Blend’s more evident qualities – such as the proprietary blend, lack of additives or side effects, gluten-free status, etc. – might make up for the price drawback in the long term for some buyers.

NuBiotix Digestive Enzyme Blend Side Effects

While most supplement treatments debut with an episode of abdominal cramping and discomfort, you won’t have to worry about this happening with Digestive Enzyme Blend during the first few days of administration.

The 2.5 billion CFUs count is gentle enough so as to not generate that big of a bacterial imbalance in your gut, hence doing away with all those unwanted symptoms like bloating, gas, visceral pain, etc.

The enzymatic components also help in this sense because it is their role to boost food decomposition and make the probiotic components ‘assimilate’ faster into the gastrointestinal tract’s own microflora.

All in all, this means that Digestive Enzyme Blend can be taken without any sort of concern regarding nasty side effects or microorganism ‘fights’ inside your stomach.

Manufacturer guarantee

One major drawback to purchasing Digestive Enzyme Blend is that you don’t receive any sort of explicit manufacturer guarantee upon acquisition.

This is clearly a negative point for the product because it shows a lack of concern for customer satisfaction from the company’s part.

Still, an unpleasant experience with Digestive Enzyme Blend can result in you receiving your money back if you follow a number of specific steps.

The first of these is calling the NuBiotix customer service department and stating your situation in full.

Then, you have to return the supplement in the original and unopened (!) packaging, as well as cover the S&H (shipping and handling) costs yourself.

But be careful to do this procedure within the first 30 days of purchasing the dietary enhancer, otherwise, you won’t receive your money back.

All things said and done, the return policy for Digestive Enzyme Blend is a very disappointing one and it definitely takes away from the supplement’s general quality.

Do not purchase this product! I told the robot on the phone no 3 times and it did not understand me, then I tried calling the next 3 days to cancel my account. They told me I disn’t have an account. Then 3 more days later my card was charged. I called up customer service and they said that they couldn’t refund my money. It’s a scam you can’t say no! It will still take your card after given the option to proceed or not after entering your card info.
